To add a new slide to your presentation, in any view other than Slide Show:

  1. Display the slide that you would like to add a new slide to come after, i.e. when you insert a slide, the new slide is placed after the displayed or selected slide.

    Note:  If in Slide Sorter view, select the slide you wish to place the new slide after.

  2. Choose Insert from the menu bar then New Slide or click on the button on the formatting toolbar.
